We have delivered our first  full day Firefighter Rescue Survey Ambassadors Academy. A huge thank you to Curt and Jessica Isakson and the entire County Fire Tactics Team for inviting us and hosting us with the support of a room, meeting time and meals to get our team together in one location to finalize the latest data from now over 3,000 rescues reported to the survey. With over 100 firefighters inn the audience we delivered 6 presentations over 8 hours.
  • History and evolution of Firefighter Rescue Survey
  • Data collection and survey completions
  • 3000 Rescue data set
  • The OKC Story - Department implementation and culture impacts
  • The Fireground Civilian Rescue Research Project
  • Taking it to the Streets - Policy, training and operations
In addition to attending the program all those in the audience were provided copies of all presentations, the 3000 rescue data set, Fireground Civilian Rescue Research Project and additional supporting documentation on a flash drive so that the mission and message can be shared.

Since this was the first delivery of this program and the latest data set we have two requests of those who attended.
  1. Please provide us any feedback you have on the program content, pace and deliverables. We want to hold a few of these events every year to help expand the reach of the Firefighter Rescue Survey and without knowing what works and what doesn't we can't improve.
  2. Please let us know the ways you are using the information and tools we provided to share the message and the mission. We are always looking for new ways or new audiences to address. Tag us in pictures, email us links, policy changes or lesson plans. We cannot wait to see how this program is put to use across the nation.
Use the contact us link  post in the Firefighter Rescue Survey Facebook Group or get ahold of one of our team members directly. Once again thank you to all for sharing your time with us last week and your continued support to ensure that the mission of the fire service (saving lives) matches our metrics (lives saved)
